學生在臺期間必須自行注意簽證到期日期，避免逾期停留。

外僑申請居留證及延期/ ARC Application & Extension for Foreigners
1. 首次申請居留證（ARC）
o 外國人持 FS（就學）、FR（居留）或其他居留事由簽證入境臺灣後，須至移民署或其網站辦理就學/居留居留證。
o 所需文件通常包括：簽證、護照、入學或工作證明、財力證明、健康檢查報告等。
2. 居留證延期
o 依據法規：《外國人停留、居留及永久居留辦法》第3、8、22-1條。
o 申請時程：於居留證到期前30日內提出。
o 申請地點：居留地內政部移民署服務處。
o 所需文件：現有居留證、護照及相關證明文件。
1. Initial ARC Application
o Foreigners entering Taiwan with FS (Student), FR (Resident), or other residence visas must apply for the Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) at the National Immigration Agency (NIA) or via their website.
o Required documents usually include: visa, passport, proof of enrollment or employment, financial proof, health check report, etc.
2. ARC Extension
o Legal Basis: Articles 3, 8, and 22-1 of the Regulations on the Stay, Residence, and Permanent Residence of Foreign Nationals.
o Application Period: Within 30 days before the ARC expires.
o Application Location: NIA service office in your place of residence.
o Required Documents: Current ARC, passport, and supporting documents.

|
-提交居留證正本、護照正本或經駐外機構驗證的護照影本、委託書（需驗證）、其他相關文件
- 交由受委託人至內政部移民署辦理，或
- 透過移民署線上系統申請延期

- Submit original ARC, original passport or authenticated copy, power of attorney (authenticated), and other relevant documents
- Authorized person applies at NIA, or
- Apply online via NIA system for extension

外僑居留證逾期 / ARC Overstay
依據法規
• 《入出國及移民法》第 31 條、第 85 條。
說明
• 外國人居留證（ARC）逾期未辦理延長或離境，屬違法行為。
• 違規者可能面臨罰款、限制再入境或驅逐出境等處分。
• 如居留證即將到期，應提早辦理延期或離境手續。

• Articles 31 and 85 of the Immigration Act.
Explanation
• Staying in Taiwan after the ARC expires without extension or departure is illegal.
• Violators may face fines, entry bans, or deportation.
• Apply for ARC extension or leave Taiwan before the ARC expires.
在台停留或居留期間，不可以做與申請停留、居留目的不一樣的活動或工作。如果有違法工作的情況，可以強制驅逐出國。
在台停留或居留期間，須隨身攜帶護照或外僑居留證。主管機關或其他依法令賦予權責之公務員，可以在執行公務時，要求出示這些證件。若未依規定隨身攜帶護照或外僑居留證者，將被罰款 1,000 元。

*逾期停留、居留90天以內者，一年不得以免簽證或落地簽入境。逾期90天以上者，一年內不得入境。

During your stay in Taiwan, you must not engage in any activity or employment inconsistent with the purpose of your visa. Illegal work may result in deportation.
